They stay up without being tight and can be folded over. They’re not thin and not extra heavy either. Excellent quality ! Just wish they had come in more colors than they do like navy and brown. I also bought the gray. So happy with this purchase!I purchased size 9-11. I'm a size 10. The heel doesn't come up on my heel. The socks are nice, just not quite big enough. I haven't washed them yet; definitely won't put them in the dryer. If they shrink, I won't be able to wear them at all. I kept them because I need socks - the weather is getting cold. I can't wear any of the socks I already have because they all have polyester in them and I've developed an allergy to poly.Thick and stay up on calf well so they act as a comfortable buffer between my skin and the tope edge of mid-calf boots.The weave of the socks are too loose so the socks “fall down” in the shoes or boots.These are nice socks. Very cushiony. Unfortunately, they don't fit. They're enormous. They went straight into the Goodwill basket.These are comfortable, good quality socks.I've been looking for cotton socks and most are the dry fit stuff. These are comfortable and don't make my feet sweat. They are exactly what I wanted!These socks are great! I am a one handed person and I have been looking for socks that are easy to put on and substantial. Perfect weight. Not too thin or thick.Very comfortable and warm. Ordered another set.
