Bought these waders a year ago and really liked the comfort and breathable fabric. I took good care of the waders, always avoided any unnecessary bush whacking or scrambling over logs in the river. I’ve owned and wrecked many waders in my life so I really tried to make these last. I religiously dried them out after each use and stored them in a cool dry place out of the sun. Well a year into ownership I developed a leak in the left leg on the seam where the pant leg meets the booty . Dab on some Aquaseal and back to fishing. Another leak on the same seam so apply some more. I’ve had to do this about 8 to 10 times now and now I have goobered up the entire seam all the way around the leg. Not sure if I have the leak under control or not because my last time fishing I slipped and fell on an embankment and ripped a hole in the seat of the waders. Of course, I did not know the hole was there until I waded in and filled both pant legs. I inspected the area where I fell and found no obvious explanation to cause the rip.I will try patching them one more time but in my heart I feel I am fighting a loosing battle. My next step will be to make the jump to a tougher and hopefully American made wader, knowing they will be heavier and breathe less and cost more than twice the amount. But that is better than washing your undersides with 50 degree water."front zippered top stash pocket for keeping tools and fly boxes within close range." Not waterProofThis is my first real pair of waders. Although I was hesitant to spend $180 on an "entry level" pair, I'm glad that I did. I have now used these for a total of 15 hours over three separate river wading trips. They kept me comfortable and dry the entire time. I have been using them with a pair of Orvis Ultralight wading boots, and I find the match to be amazing. As compared to my cheap set of boots-on waders, this new setup is a dream; I hardly remember that I have them on.
