I bought it for my friend's birthday and it was too small. I originally got the one size and reordered the 2x/3x. It has not arrived yet.I bought this robe especially for my trips to hot springs and hot tub hopping at the ski resorts we frequent in the winter. I can wear my swimsuit underneath and walk around without feeling self conscious. I can sit outside without freezing to death. I can dry myself off by first using the skimpy hotel towel and then sliding into the robe. It’s warm, super absorbent, relatively quick drying, and provides enough comfort to use consistently. The material is not too soft (as to be expected when the main objective is to dry you off and keep you warm). It maintains its shape and fabric texture after washing, and the fabric is holding up quite well so far. I would definitely recommend this for people like myself who head to the outdoor hot tub after a long day of skiing!As stated runs big, thought I needed it to assist me after shower due to spinal surgery and was advised not to rub my back for drying , to maybe get a robe to absorb some dampness but my husband simply patted my back . I opened the robe, but didn’t need it.I am between US woman's size 16-18, 5'6" height. Fit's the way I hoped it would. Not oversized, but not skimpy either; comfortable, good coverage when belt tied. When I took it out of box I was shocked, pleasantly so, at the excellent quality of this robe; from the fabric, sewing detail, the hood, pockets, belt, length, sleeve length. When ordering I think there were sizes Small, Medium, 2X/3X and ONE SIZE. Viewed size chart. I guessed my size fell within the ONE SIZE, which worked out, fortunately. I've seen robes similar to this, fancy brand names, hotels, and so on, but they're always far to thick and bulky, sometimes even too stiff, don't offer a hood, pockets, wrong lengths, usually too short, and they cost $100 and higher, which I just wouldn't ever pay that much. So when came across this robe and so many good reviews I had to take a chance and so glad I did. Now we know what are going to buy for a daughter, her husband and 6 year old for next Christmas or just because gift. Getting each of them a robe. This comes in children's version/sizes, too. So they can use them to walk back and forth from house to sauna building in Alaska; perfect gift idea.My boyfriend loves how comfortable and warm it is. It’s not as absorbent as a towel but it’s okay. We got white, one size. I was nervous on the one size since my boyfriend is 6’5 but it’s not too short. It goes down to about mid calf which is impressive given his height. Also, the hood is oversized which he liked. Would buy againReally took my post-shower game up to the next levelGood quality. Just what we wantedI purchased this robe to replace a traditional terry cloth robe (after years of using terry cloth). Unlike microfiber towels I've switched to for use at the gym, this robe isn't very absorbent. I use it in place of a towel after a shower, and it performs only OK in the dry California air. In any place with humidity, I'd imagine it doesn't work like a towel at all. Otherwise, it does seem well constructed and is super comfortable!
