My feet blister easily when I walk in summer. More recently, I started noticing some plantar fasciitis. When I was trying products for the latter, I found a silicon heel cushion that seemed helpful to both conditions. I thought maybe full silicon socks would help protect my entire feet from blisters and found these.I generally take my dog for two half hour walks a day and have not had a blister in a month, which is very unusual, the month being August, since wearing these under my socks and shoes, plus a support sleeve on one ankle for the planter fasciitis. I do also use lotion in the moisturizing socks, which helps the blistering further by cutting down friction. And yes, my feet are softer, too. On the downside, two of the socks have already torn, at which point they are about done. If anyone else has epidermalysis bullosa simplex, these may be a helpful to getting more walking in. I wouldn't run in them, though, as the lower friction and stretchability lead to more motion inside one's shoe, so a runner might sprain an ankle or otherwise injure oneself.I started buying the dry-feet sock products 10 years ago I am in dry CA snd get cracked heels bad in summer - I’ve tried them all!The silicon rubbery stuff works for sureThe old slipper types are thick and hot and hard to walk in - I’ve dreamed of a thinner solid silicon like a bootie/sock - and this is it!I also live the half-foot with heel silicon only but wanted whole footI rarely write instant WoW! Like a second skin - snd does not slip around when I walk like the thick old fat booties we’ve all triedI can even put my feet into my slip-ons and mules etcI could probably put sick over snd wear boots?? I tried walking around all day with them with booties/slippers and they split after 2 or 3 uses. Still have those that weren’t subjected to being worn around the house and up and down stairs.I use Cerave lotion or ammonium lotion and works great for me. I am 64 years old and smart enough not to run across the floor. Yes, they can be dangerous if you are stupid. They are not shoes. They are made for you to kick back in your recliner and let the heat of your body work with the lotion.Used these the first night, woke up to soft feet. You can't walk around with them so it's better to use right before bed. Easy to wash and re useI love the concept of these. They basically check every box that I was looking for.For informational purposes, they're to much for overnight wear. The natural process of your feet sweating in them causes a sludgy pool of sweat and the product you applied when waking up. Very unsafe when having to use the restroom or being a slow riser with initial brain fog. They're also not safe to walk around the house in if you have product on your feet while wearing them. Your feet will slide around inside, it doesn't matter how good the anti-sliding capability is on the outside. Your feet will stay on the floor, but they'll be sliding all over the place while doing so. Hope this makes sense.I recommend this product for a few hours use at a time when you don't have other responsibilities to attend to that require walking. Alternatives are you could possibly air your feet out for a few minutes and put them back on, also you could try wearing them with shoes so your feet don't slide around inside.All-in-all it's a good product and I recommend.These socks do help my feet but they are very small. I wear an 8.5, any bigger and they would not fit. Super slippery to walk in so I wear socks over them. Still only wear in bed, no way I could walk around in them. I've had other gel socks that have a different gel that I like better. These work fine but don't love them.Flexible and easy
